What are living lab projects?

The development of successful innovative ICT applications and services requires more than a good idea and a sporadic integration of user feedback in the development cycle. Successful innovation requires continuous involvement and feedback of users throughout the whole development cycle. Therefore the living lab concept has been developed. Through the Flemish living lab program the unique opportunity has been created to support, in a structured way, the development of new living labs. 

"The mission of the living lab program is to facilitate stakeholders (Flemish companies and partners) during large scale user tests within certain ICT application domains on innovative infrastructure of the next generation network technology."
