Call 2012
Attention! The timing has changed:
- May 2th: deadline submission extended abstract
- May 22nd & 23rd: pitch of the project on a panel
- Mid-June: announcement Go/NoGo decision
- September 3th: deadline submission full proposal
The Board of Directors decided to change the procedure to limit the number of full proposals and avoid unnecessary efforts from your side.
From this year on you will be asked to submit an extended abstract before May 2th. The pitch for a panel of experts of the abstract will take place end May. The Board of Directors will evaluate the abstract depending on the pitch. By mid-June you will receive a motivated advice in which you will or will not be invited to submit a full proposal.
Extended abstract
- Deadline: May 2nd (12h at noon)
- Content abstract:
- Project idea
- Composition of the consortium
- Expected valorisation
- Estimated effort per partner
- Motivation demand-driven nature
- The submission of the extended abstract before the deadline is a requirement to be allowed to submit a full proposal.
- The template for the submission of the extended abstracts is mandatory and can be downloaded here.
Pitch of the extended abstracts for a panel of experts
- When: 22nd & 23rd of May 2012
- A preliminary meeting with a panel of experts will take place during which you can explain your project idea by means of a pitch.
Go/NoGo decision by the Board of Directors
- When: by mid-June
- Depending on the advice you will or will not be invited to submit a full proposal.
Full proposal
- Deadline: September 3th 2012
- The submission of the extended abstract before the deadline is a requirement to be allowed to submit a full proposal.
- The template for the submission of the full proposal is are mandatory and will be available on the IBBT website very soon.
Instruction meetings
- When: between September 17th and October 5th
Approvals
- When: by the end of November 2012
Start project
- Financing of the IBBT research groups, is expected from the first of January 2013.
- However, the project partners can start the project at their own risk as soon as the project proposal is approved. Which means that, in case the project is rejected, the costs cannot be claimed.
