iRead+

The iRead+ project aims to develop an intelligent reader with text, audio and visual materials for an e-reader or tablet PC.

The target group ranges from general readers to language learners and even readers or students with reading difficulties.

The reader is intelligent in its enrichment of textual and multimedia materials. Linguistic, socio-collaborative and multimodal annotation techniques will be studied to realize this. iRead+ will provide support possibilities such as a reasoning component, a virtual tutor and an automated exercise generator.
