Books, documents, objects, photographs, images, stories and so on form the basis of our memory. Without all this, history wouldn't exist. Hence the need to constantly think about the best ways to archive all this material. In an era where computers and internet (ICT) are pervasive, the process of archiving can not be separated from digitization.
