Today is the day! Presentation of the Flemish Dissertation Award 2010

The Flemish Dissertation Award is recognised as being the most prestigious award in Flanders and this is also reflected in the presentation of the prize. Last year it was handed over in the presence of Her Royal Highness Queen Paola and Minister Ingrid Lieten. This year the presentation of the award will take place on 7 December 2010 in the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Science and the Arts, one week before The Future Internet Conference Week.

As a foretaste of what is to come, the evening event will hinge around the theme of ‘the digital world of the future’. What will our lives be like in the future thanks to the latest technologies? TV and Radio producer Sven Speybrouck, who will be hosting the event, will guide you through this multimedia and avant-garde event.
