Silicon Valley is ready for a new wave of Flemish entrepreneurs

Regardless how much groundbreaking research is being carried out in Europe, the dynamics of an ‘ecosystem’ in which top universities, venture capital, large companies and entrepreneurs have networked and created an efficient loop of value-adding innovations, is invaluable.

IBBT therefore formed a partnership with the Silicon Valley incubator Plug and Play Tech Center, supported by Flanders Investment & Trade.

As the first companies selected are eating the proof of their pudding as we speak, we will launch a new call for start-up companies ready to spread their wings abroad by end of August.

ICT starters will be able to send in their candidacy until September 28th.

The selected companies will be presented to you at our annual iMinds conference on October 13th and they will be leaving for the US from January 2012 onwards!
