Researcher Jo Pierson about internet and privacy

Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google, warns teenagers about sharing information on social network sites. The interview with Schmidt was published in De Morgen.

Schmidt’s statements inspired researcher Jo Pierson (IBBT-SMIT-VUB) to write down his opinion on the subject, published in the opinion’s page of De Morgen (24/08/2010).

Youngsters should be awoken about the risks they are exposed to on the internet. Both companies and the government can no longer decline their responsibilities.
