All public and private organizations from all over the world, actively involved in engaging people in sustainable innovation processes, are being invited to become a member of the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL).
The network was established in November 2006, under the Finnish EU Presidency. It is constantly and gradually being expanded with new members. Today, 274 Living Labs are part of this network.
Living Labs are test and development environments in a realistic context in which users and developers collaborate. They work together on:
• New applications development
• New habits, behaviour, and detection of new market opportunities
• Experiments performed in a realistic environment
• Evaluation of new concepts, products and services
