PhD defence Eva Lievens "Regulatory instruments for content regulation in digital media"

ICRI K.U. Leuven - IBBT kindly invites you to the public defence of Eva Lievens´ PhD, titled "Regulatory instruments for content regulation in digital media -  A prospective study on the protection of minors against harmful content".

Eva studied the use of alternative regulatory instruments, such as self- and co-regulation, to protect minors against harmful digital content (e.g. online pornography or websites related to anorexia) and examined whether there are legal obstacles to the use of such instruments.

The defence takes place on Monday 29 June 2009 at 10h30 in the Promotiezaal of the K.U.Leuven (Universiteitshallen, Naamsestraat 22, 3000 Leuven) and will be held in English.
