Lost in the city

Written by IBBT on Friday 28 October 2011

What if the city were interactive? You could explore her past and together dream together about what might be. The boundaries between “real” and “virtual” blur. The city reveals her secrets and shows off her beauty.

There is more to the city than buildings. A city lives in our heads and finds itself sits on the crossroads of social networks. A city reacts and evolves.

Earlier this summer, IBBT made a call for Art&D project proposals. Art&D is the yearly IBBT grant for artists, the theme this year is “Augmented Cities”.

The Art&D program brings together artists and researchers for the elaboration of an artistic-technological project. We received 45 Art & D project proposals of which 9 are withheld.

On November 30, the participants will present their proposals to the jury. All selected projects will be communicated in December.
