ICubes resident wins Belgian Cleantech Challenge 2011

Last Saturday the winner of the Belgian Cleantech challenge 2011 was announced. It basically is an innovation competition for students in Belgium who are working on a business case regarding an environmentally-friendly technology.


Saturday the final phase of the competition took place between the 5 remaining competitors. One of them was Cluttr, an early stage start-up focused on infrastructure management that works in cooperation with IBBT and is located in iCubes. Currently Cluttr is working on a solution that reduces the energy costs for data centers. The project became the winner of the Belgian Cleantech challenge 2011!


Cluttr is founded by 3 university students living in Ghent: Frederik Van Hecke, Thimo Thoeye and Tom Van De Meirssche. Congratulations boys!
