Exhibition: de Krook - a new beacon for Ghent

On November 5th 2008, the exhibition "De Krook: a new beacon for Ghent" opened in the public library in the Zuid city quarter. The exhibition shows an image of the plans for the future for the "Waalse Krook" site that the Flemish Community, the Province Eastern Flanders, the city of ghent, the AG Stadsontwikkelingsbedrijf Gent (SOB), the University of Ghent and the Interdisciplinary Institute for Broad Band Technology (IBBT) are currentyly studying and on which they will make a decision in the months ahead. The exhibition takes place in the Achilles Mussche hall of the library on the Graaf van Vlaanderenplein and runs until January 3rd 2009. The exhibition is accompanied with a website on www.dekrook.be.
