The APOLLON project is setting up Living Lab thematic networks. There are 4 cross-border Living Lab experiments: in the Homecare and Independent Living, Energy Efficiency, eManufacturing and eParticipation domain. These Living Labs are cross-border and aim to develop pan-European domain-specific solutions. It gives young European companies the opportunity to trial products on other European markets.
APOLLON also wants to involve individuals and SME's as actors in innovation and so they soon will create these and more thematic networks at their community website. Everybody can contribute to these wiki pages intended to formulate the vision, mission and governance of these thematic network communities.
The charters for these thematic networks will be validated at the community networking event "Living Lab track" in the framework of the ICE conference in Aachen, Germany from the 20th to the 22nd of June 2011.
