1,000 IBBT researchers bike to the moon for charity

Employees of the Flemmish research institute IBBT today started with a 356.400 kilometres long cycling trip.. the (shortest) distance from planet Earth to the moon! What once started as a ‘crazy’ idea has soon grown to a large event. In Flanders, about 1,000 researchers of the Universities in Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent, Hasselt, Leuven and Kortrijk are connected to IBBT. Eddy Merckx Cycles and G-Flux, a start-up from the IBBT student entrepeneur program, have commited themselves as partners in the project. Read more...
