For 2,5 years Veronique was active in the telecommunications sector in Ghent, where she concentrated on the sales, training of new employees and the support of her colleagues at the reception desk within the firm.

In the summer of 2008 she decided to take a totally different path, and she enthusiastically joined the IBBT team in August 2008. As office assistant of the program managers and the technology transfer manager, her tasks include managing of their agendas, writing up the minutes of various meetings and booking of travels.
