Stefan A. Vermeulen

Stefan A. Vermeulen
Product Marketeer

Dutch-born Stefan Vermeulen joined IBBT in September 2011 in the function of Product Marketeer. In this role he searches for IBBT’s best practices and lessons learned. Because sometimes, society’s benefit of technological progress is just unclear and does not reach the right audience. Making stories out of tech speak is where Stefan comes in the picture.

Before his job at IBBT, Stefan fulfilled several marketing and communication positions in The Netherlands. In chronological sequence he worked for KPN/KPN Mobile (the Dutch telecommunication incumbent), TNT Post (the national post service), a VoIP/WiMAX start-up called Smile Telecom (which, unfortunately, failed) and Online Broadband (part of T-Mobile, better known as Wanadoo or Euronet Internet).

Stefan moved to the Flemish village Gullegem for obvious personal reasons (love lifts us up where we belong). He loves rock climbing, camping, going fast on a motor bike and attending rock gigs. It's taking him already over 3 years to pick up his guitar and start wind surfing, but he intends to continue in the coming 3 years. He is preparing himself for the Mont Blanc, a marathon, a triathlon and a trail run - perhaps he will even participate in one.

Drop a line via e-mail or give Stefan a call (+32 473 91 90 62) if you are curious for more!
