In 2006, after a three-year course at the University of Ghent, Melissa obtained her degree in Accounting-Taxability. With this degree she started her career in November 2006 at ArcelorMittal, where she was an administrative clerk in the accounts department.

After 1,5years she joined the family business ‘Cantillana’ where she worked in the accounting department. At the end of November 2008 Melissa joined the IBBT team, where she handles finance and accounting issues.
