Katrien Wemel
Katrien Wemel obtained her Master’s Degree Linguistics; Dutch – English at UGent in 2008. Never tired of studying, she went to Antwerp for her Master after Master Cultural Mangagement.
In April 2010, she came home to IBBT, to complement the team of ‘marketing and communication’ as a Marketing Assistant. Corporate Identity, project leaflets and the IBBT website soon became her pet subjects. She also cherishes the atmosphere on and around the work floor.
Her quintessential leisure activity spells ‘culture’. Katrien is amongst other things Strategic Manager at company De Sprook. Furthermore, she sings, acts and coaches at amateur theater group VTV. Both reading and writing of books and theatre plays are also top of mind.
